CEO Conference
After a couple of days in transit, with nothing to eat but deep fried stuff we have finally made it to the CEO Conference in Orlando, Florida. Linda and I left the Paradise Backpackers in the morning and made the trip by bus to the Sheraton World Resort where the conference will be heard. Orlando is so weird; I can't imagine actually living here, everything revolves around Disneyworld and seems like such a fantasy land.
We arrived at the Sheraton about 30 minutes before we were due to speak at the Chapter Development Sessions, giving others advice on how to improve their clubs. A little dramatic, but all was good and we pulled off our 3 presentations without a hitch!
Had a great orientation dinner tonight at Rollins College and met lots of American College Students.... it's going to be an interesting two days.
Just trying to decide whether to go out to Pleasure Island (Disneyworld for adults) or stay and chill at the hotel... am yet to have a good nights sleep or an ultra healthy meal, but apart from that am having a ball.

Good to hear all's well and you're safe and sound and not being stormed out. Trust the rest of the conference ran smoothly and it was all of the great experience that you thought it would be. By now you're probably somewhere else - keep us posted.
Just had a relaxing couple of days down at the Grove. Just what the doctor ordered after the last couple of hectic weeks with Grandad, and I've still got 2 more days to chill. Dad's going back to work tomorrow though.
Grandad is doing well and moved to the rehab hospital in Donvale on Friday. Physio starts tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.
When I went to post a message just now it had the wrong setting and not anyone could leave their message - only blogspotters. Dad's just changed that so now you should have a few messages coming in.
Well, kiddo, we're thinking of you. Make the most of your time there (but then I'm sure you will!) Love you heaps.

Hope your journey across went okay. Did you still remember how big that ocean was? Good to hear that the conference went well. How many contacts have you made amongst the world's budding entrepreneaurs. Hope you guys can take in some of Disneyland. Next stop PR?
